Le nouveau monde qui se dessine n’a plus de centre. Le revoici plus multipolaire que jamais, éclaté, traversé de lignes de failles anciennes et modernes, de fractures visibles et invisibles.Des conflits armés secouent à nouveau l’Europe, le MoyenOrient et l’Afrique. D’autres affrontements se jouent en parallèle sur des terrains aussi divers que l’économie, la technologie, l’IA et le numérique, les réseaux sociaux ou le climat. Un peu partout, informations et manipulations s’entrecroisent et relativisent la notion même de vérité.Dans une guerre des récits inédite, l’émotion prend souvent le pas sur la raison, la manipulation sur la vérité et l’autocratie le dispute ouvertement à la démocratie, en recul sur la planète.Au traditionnel « brouillard de la guerre » se superpose désormais le « brouillard de la paix ».Entre ce présent souvent étrange et un avenir qui reste à inventer, il ne tient qu’à nous d’entretenir la flamme de la relation transatlantique.
