Les dirigeants et athlètes de l’UFC avec les représentants de la FAFF.RENCONTRES // MEETINGSÀ la veille de la très attendue seconde édition de l’UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) à Paris, nous avons inauguré un format original avec un double panel : Le premier sur le business du sport aux États-Unis avec Lawrence Epstein, Senior Executive VP & COO, UFC, et Andrew Schleimer, Executive VP & CFO, UFC et Deputy CFO at Endeavor, qui se sont entretenus avec David Barroux (YL 2012), Les Échos, sur le développement commercial et financier du mastodonte de l’entertainment. Le second panel, modéré par Paul-Adrien Lamoureux, a réuni 2 athlètes d’exception : Tom Aspinall, numéro 4 mondial UFC « Heavyweight », et la légende Georges Saint-Pierre, titulaire de plusieurs titres mondiaux en MMA, sur le thème du leadership et plus spécifiquement de la préparation et de la performance physiques et mentales. Les enjeux de réglementation relatifs à l’implantation d’une nouvelle discipline sportive en France ainsi que les Jeux Olympiques ont été évoqués.
